Bypass
Make a bypass if a temporary road is used for a number of weeks, while the old road is not available for traffic.
Create the bypass with new segments if it is possible to re-use the old road segments later on, for the future situation. Don't delete the old road to preserve the segment data. When using the bypass, navigation over the old road segments can be blocked with a closure. The longer the bypass is used the less important is to preserve the old segment.
Add the bypass with a restriction on all traffic, that ends when the bypass is opened for traffic.
Add a map comment to document the bypass.
