Detour Prevention Mechanism
The Detour Prevention Mechanism (DPM) should prevent Waze from advising routes off a highway/freeway only to be routed right back on the same highway/freeway. For an explanation how this works, see the global Wiki page Detour Prevention Mechanisms.
