Allowed Resources for editing the map
As stated on the global page on Using external resources: Usage of any external copyrighted source of information, in order to add information to the Waze database or maps, is not allowed. External copyright information includes any online or printed map information that is not provided by Waze through the Waze Map Editor interface. Using any source of external copyright information puts the Waze maps under danger of being forced to revert all changes done to the map in your area / country.
Using internal resources like the satellite image and the Street View presented within the WME is allowed. Besides these WME internal sources we can use as source for House numbers the BAG. For these and other public sources, see the Tools page.
Information displayed via Scripts may not always be used. There are various scripts that allow you to display images, maps, GPS tracks, etc. Whether this displayed data may be used depends on the source of the data: is this public domain or copyright protected data.
